Renáta Kosaras is one of Hungary’s leading experts in strategic sports communication and sports diplomacy, currently serving as the President of the Hungarian Sports Business Association (MASÜSZ). With more than 30 years of experience shaped by her own background as a team athlete, she brings both the mindset of a competitor and the precision of an engineer to every project she leads. Her guiding principle has always been clear: "if you don’t see yourself as a winner, you can’t become one."

After her active sports career, Renáta transitioned into the sports industry, quickly becoming a key figure in the marketing and communication of national and international sports projects. She has led communications for some of the most high-profile events in Hungary and abroad, from Nitro Circus in Budapest with Travis Pastrana, to the Hungarian Everest and South Pole Expeditions, and the repositioning of Olympic shooting in Hungary. Her role in groundbreaking expeditions continues today with projects such as Rakonczay Gábor’s “One More Expedition".

Renáta has also been at the forefront of major federations, serving as Marketing and Communications Director for the Hungarian Athletics Association, supporting athletes at the Budapest World Championships and the Rome European Championships, and working closely with the Hungarian Swimming Association at two World Championships, most recently as Marketing Communications Director of the 17th World Short Course Swimming Championships.

Over her career, she has collaborated with an impressive list of Olympic champions and elite athletes, including Sándor Noszály, László Cseh, Imre Pulai, Zoltán Szécsi, Viktor Knoch, Péter Sebestyén, Kornél Lukács, Balázs Szalay, Attila Molnár, Luca Kozák, and many others. Today, she actively manages athletes such as Luca Kozák, European silver medalist and national record holder in hurdles, and Attila Molnár, World Championship bronze medalist, European champion, and Hungarian record holder in the 400m sprint.

Her contributions have been widely recognized with numerous awards: the Sport Forum Awards “Joy of Movement” (Gold, for the MASZ “From Kids to Athletes” program), Best Sport Facility (Bronze, for the Lupa Beach long jump track, 2023), Marketing Diamond (Hungarian Everest Expedition B2B Communication, 2017), Sport Marketing Award (Silver, Hungarian South Pole Expedition, 2019), and the Inspiring Women Award (2018).

Renáta’s career is defined by a rare combination of strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and deep dedication to sport. Whether advising federations, guiding athlete brands, or leading communication for major international events, she has built a legacy as one of the foremost voices in sports business and marketing in Hungary.
