Teqball Event Ever

Few sporting events manage to capture history in the making, yet the World Teqball Championships 2023 in Bangkok did exactly that. For the first time outside Europe, the sport’s flagship event brought together 211 players from 61 countries, delivering 404 matches across five categories. It was the biggest stage Teqball had ever seen, and behind its striking identity stood Consoulution (Conso), entrusted with designing not just the look but the entire experience.

Crafting a Global Identity

When the International Teqball Federation awarded Bangkok the hosting rights, expectations were high. The Thai capital’s modern arenas and rich cultural backdrop demanded a presentation worthy of a world-class championship. For Us, this was an opportunity to create a visual and emotional narrative that would resonate across continents. From the logo design and brand identity to the full broadcast package, social media content, VFX, SFX, trophies, and even official gifts, every detail was carefully planned and executed.

The challenge was twofold. On one side, Teqball is a modern sport with global ambition, pushing boundaries to enter the Olympic conversation. On the other, the host city of Bangkok brought its own energy and cultural richness that had to be reflected in the creative direction. The result was an identity that balanced cutting-edge visuals with a sense of heritage, positioning Teqball as both serious sport and global entertainment.

From Arenas to Screens Worldwide

The Championships unfolded at two venues: the Hua Mak Arena hosted group and knockout matches, before the Bangkok Arena welcomed the semifinals and finals. Across both, our work was everywhere: stadium branding, broadcast overlays, motion graphics, and atmospheric visual effects designed to amplify the tension of every rally.

Globally, fans experienced the event through 126 streamed matches and 24 broadcast games, making it the most widely viewed Teqball event in history. Local broadcaster MONO29 aired live coverage, while international audiences enjoyed a seamless production, a testament to the integrated broadcast and streaming design led by our creative and technical teams.

The Ronaldinho Effect

Adding star power to the competition, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, one of football’s greatest icons and a long-time Teqball ambassador, appeared in Bangkok for a gala match and meet-and-greet with fans. His presence electrified the atmosphere, reinforcing Teqball’s growing global credibility.

At the closing press conference, Ronaldinho praised the professionalism of today’s Teqball athletes and reaffirmed his belief that the sport is destined for the Olympic stage. “It is an amazing sport,” he said, “and I am sure it will be part of the Olympic program soon.” His words, amplified by the striking visuals and flawless presentation, became part of the Championship’s legacy.

Teamwork and Global Recognition

Officials and organizers praised the tournament as the most colorful and spectacular World Championships ever. Mr. Meechai Inwood, Deputy Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand, celebrated the role of the event in showcasing Thailand’s sporting potential, while Viktor Huszár, Chairman of FITEQ, highlighted the record-breaking participation and cultural diversity.

For Us, the recognition was equally rewarding. The design and communication choices were not simply decorative but integral to shaping how the world experienced Teqball. Fans on-site spoke about the elegance of the visuals, while international forums and social media echoed the same sentiment: this was a Championship defined as much by its atmosphere as by its athletes.

A Defining Moment for Teqball and Conso

The 2023 World Championships were a turning point. For Teqball, it marked a step closer to its Olympic aspirations, proving that the sport could deliver top-tier global events. For Conso, it was the confirmation of its role as a creative powerhouse in sports identity and event technology.

By controlling every aspect of the event’s presentation—from brand identity to broadcast, from social storytelling to in-arena effects—CONSO demonstrated that creativity and execution can transform a competition into a worldwide spectacle. Finally, Bangkok 2023 showed that when sport, culture, and design come together, the result is not just a championship, but a moment in history.
