CEV BEACH VOLLEY
crafting the soul of your vision
NATIONS CUP FINAL
When people think about sports marketing, they often think about social media posts, highlight videos or match-day graphics.
We think differently.
For us, communication is successful only when it creates real-world impact.
- When it fills venues.
- When it builds communities.
- When it makes people choose to spend their weekend at your event instead of somewhere else.
That was exactly the challenge we received from the Hungarian Volleyball Federation ahead of the CEV Beach Volleyball Nations Cup Final 2026.

"Fill the stands."
The Federation had already built a spectacular venue in Budapest's iconic Városliget. They had secured one of Europe's most prestigious beach volleyball events. They had world-class athletes, international partners and a fantastic location.
Now they needed people.
- Families.
- Young adults.
- Sports fans.
- Tourists.
They needed an atmosphere worthy of a European Final.
And they trusted Consoulution to make it happen.

From the very beginning, we knew that this project couldn't rely on traditional event communication.
Beach volleyball isn't just about what happens inside the court.
It's sunshine. Music. Energy. Community. Budapest.
Instead of promoting fixtures, we decided to promote an experience.
We developed a 40-day communication strategy that positioned the Nations Cup Final as one of Budapest's must-visit summer events.
- Every piece of content had a role within a much bigger story.
- HERO videos introduced the athletes before they stepped onto the sand.
- Lifestyle content showcased Budapest as the perfect host city.
- Behind-the-scenes productions made the audience feel part of the journey.
- Partner activations delivered value to sponsors without interrupting the fan experience.
- Short-form content kept momentum high every single day.
The objective was never simply to inform.
It was to build anticipation.
A successful international event doesn't communicate with just one audience.
It communicates with many.
- Fans.
- Athletes.
- Sponsors.
- Partners.
- International federations.
- Media.
- The host city.
One of the biggest challenges was ensuring that every stakeholder received value without compromising the overall experience.
Sponsors were integrated naturally into storytelling rather than appearing as isolated advertising placements.
Partners received meaningful visibility across multiple content formats.
Athletes gained stronger personal exposure through dedicated HERO content and post-match interviews.
Meanwhile, Budapest itself became an integral part of the narrative, reinforcing its position as an outstanding host city for major international sporting events.
The communication never felt fragmented because every element belonged to the same strategic ecosystem.
Planning was only half the job.
Once the first whistle blew, everything accelerated.
Every day brought new opportunities, new stories and new requests.
The original content plan expanded significantly during the tournament as additional interviews, highlights and social-first formats became priorities.
Our team continuously adapted without compromising quality.
Players stepped off the court and, within minutes, interviews were recorded.
Those interviews were then edited, subtitled, translated, branded and prepared for publication in record time.
Daily highlight videos were delivered only one or two hours after the final matches had finished.
- Every graphic.
- Every recap.
- Every result.
- Every social post.
- Every video.
Everything was created under extreme time pressure while maintaining the same visual identity and production quality throughout the event.
Because in modern sports communication, timing is everything.

Communication should never be measured by online metrics alone.
Reach, impressions and engagement are important, but only when they support a real-world objective.
For the CEV Beach Volleyball Nations Cup Final, our objective was clear from day one: bring people to the venue.
The digital campaign was designed to create anticipation, maintain momentum throughout the 40-day communication period, and ensure that the event remained visible across every stage of the audience journey.
The results exceeded expectations.
Across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, the campaign generated more than 4.69 million people reached, creating nationwide awareness around the event while also attracting significant international attention.
The audience didn't just see the content they interacted with it.
Our communication generated over 108,700 interactions across Facebook and Instagram alone, demonstrating exceptionally high engagement throughout the campaign.
Platform performance reflected the strength of the strategy:
Beyond reach and engagement, the campaign also delivered strong long-term value for the Federation's digital ecosystem.
The BeachVolleyballHungary social media channels experienced significant organic growth during the campaign, gaining 739 new Facebook followers and 482 new Instagram followers in just over a month.
Community interest was equally evident through the official Facebook Event, which received more than 1,400 Interested/Going responses, a record for a domestic Hungarian beach volleyball event and a clear indication that the campaign had successfully generated excitement well before the opening serve.
Yet perhaps the most important KPI wasn't found inside any analytics dashboard.
It was visible from the grandstands.
For four consecutive days.
- Packed stands.
- Thousands of spectators.
- Families spending the entire day at the venue.
- Young fans discovering beach volleyball for the first time.
- Crowds enjoying the side activities throughout the day.
- Queues forming outside the entrance.
Exactly what the campaign had been designed to achieve.
Because in the end, the greatest success of any event communication isn't measured by clicks.
It's measured by people choosing to be there.
Looking back, what makes us most proud isn't a single video, a specific graphic or a particular statistic.
It's the transformation.
We watched an empty venue become one of Budapest's liveliest sporting destinations.
We saw digital storytelling become real-world attendance.
We experienced firsthand how strategic communication can shape not only perception but behaviour.
People didn't just watch our content. They decided to be part of the story.
At Consoulution, we don't see ourselves as a social media agency.
We don't simply produce content. We build communication ecosystems around brands, organisations and events.
Every project starts with one question:
What business objective are we trying to achieve?
In this case, the answer wasn't reach.
It wasn't engagement.
It wasn't impressions.
It was creating an unforgettable atmosphere that reflected the prestige of a European championship.
Together with the Hungarian Volleyball Federation, we achieved exactly that.
The CEV Beach Volleyball Nations Cup Final 2026 became much more than another sporting event.
It became a case study of how strategic communication, creative storytelling and flawless execution can transform a vision into reality.
We are incredibly proud that the Hungarian Volleyball Federation entrusted Consoulution with the communication of such a prestigious international event.
"Looking back at those four days, what makes me proud isn't a number on a report, it's the memories."
"Seeing packed grandstands from the very first day. Watching thousands of people, families, young fans and passionate supporters spending their day at the venue. Seeing the side activities full of people, hearing the atmosphere around the courts and then opening the analytics to realise that millions of people had experienced the event online as well. That's something our entire team will remember for a long time."
"I'm incredibly proud of every single member of the Consoulution team. Our designers who built the visual identity of the campaign, our videographers who chased every emotion, every spectacular rally and every celebration, our social media team that worked around the clock, some on-site, others remotely, always available whenever the next piece of content needed to go live."
"We worked in 35-degree heat, in pouring rain, on sand, often with only minutes to turn an idea into published content. But nobody ever stopped, because everyone shared the same goal: to deliver a result that truly represents what Consoulution stands for."
"For us, the benchmark has never been to simply meet expectations. Our standard is to deliver work that makes the client say: 'We didn't expect it to be this good.' That's the culture we've built, and that's what every member of our team brings to every single project."
"Whether it's an international sporting event, a global brand or a completely different challenge, our mindset never changes. We always push ourselves to deliver more than expected. That's what Consoulution is all about."
